LT1 Pistons

Description:
MAHLE's LT1 PowerPak piston assemblies are designed specifically for the direct-injected Gen V 6.2L GM LT1 with canted-valve pockets to match the valve geometry of the OE cylinder heads. Available for stock and 4.000-inch stroke combinations, the pistons are machined on ultra strong, lightweight slipper skirt forgings, then coated with a phosphate dry film, MAHLE's Grafal skirt coating, and top ring grooves are hard-anodized. The assemblies include triple-coated pistons, German steel pins, round wire locks, and MAHLE's latest HV385 1.0mm, 1.0mm, 2.0mm all-steel ring pack.

Carbon Fiber Driveshafts

Description:
While not an official "new product" at SEMA, QA1 was displaying their coming line of carbon-fiber driveshafts, which will be built later this year at their expanded facility in Lakeville, Minnesota. QA1 is developing a variety of carbon-fiber weaves with and without sheathing to cover a broad range of uses including circle track, drag racing, street, road race, and autocross. Customers will be able to have balanced driveshafts custom built to any length with any yoke size with the goal to offer carbon fiber at the same price as aluminum or steel.

Sportsman EFI System

Description:
FAST's XFI Sportsman system is a simple, programmable, high-value engine control system that bridges the performance and price gap between FAST's more basic EZ-EFI and a full-blown XFI system. Using the familiar FAST C-COM software (which allows connection to a laptop for tuning) the system is designed to use either Speed Density or Alpha-N strategies.
