The Brodix heads used were very similar to those used to win the EMC just a few years prior. Small oval-shaped raised-runner ports were CNC machined, then touched up by HVH. Stine says that though these do have impressive high-lift flow numbers, he rarely pays attention to them, but rather the flow at .300, .400, and .500 where the piston is really pulling the air through.
