1968 Plymouth Valiant Weekend Restoration
|
We like the look of the ’68 Plymouth Valiant grille—it’s a one-year-only piece that looks vaguely like a cross between a ’63 Pontiac Tempest and a ’68 Barracuda. We thought it would benefit from a black-out treatment whereby the mesh part would be black and the surround would be silver. (The grille is normally all silver.) After some artful masking, Dulcich deposits the satin black Dupli-Color on the grille mesh. Next to the Coker wheels/tires and the Mothers detailing job, the $13 Dupli-Color spray bomb gave the Valiant the biggest visual lift. View Related Article
