Priced less than their H-beam brethren, Scat Pro Comp I-beam rods aren’t just a fancy stock replacement. They are 4340 forged steel and have ARP 7/16-inch bolts. Good enough that they are used regularly in 8,000-rpm engines across the country. Also forged, but from aluminum, the CP pistons use lateral gas ports to help the rings seal quickly and fully.
