You can see the other area to be trimmed here; the plate above the original crossmember needs the edge ground to about 45 degrees for clearance. After that the AirBar should slide right in. Trust us, it'll probably look like it's not going to go in at first, but all it takes is just the right wiggle. Ours fit like a glove. View Related Article
