Initially, the plan was to build a big-inch small-block Windsor with Cleveland heads and gun for 700 hp. Upon realizing that a motor of this caliber would cost close to $20,000, we decided to build a big-block instead. For a grand total of $9,644, complete from carb to oil pan, the School of Automotive Machinists in Houston built us a 786hp big-block that loves to take a beating. View Related Article
