Although I have just noticed this article, must say NICE! Now you representn'! I'm an old school retired mechanic/street racer and I've kinda been away from it all for a little while. The LS engines are quite impressive with them Pro Chargers hangin' up front, but I for one appreciate the smell of c-12 fuel emanating from the tail pipe of a 14:1, solid lifter Rat. I once built a 1962 chevy II based on the old "TOMATO CAN". I was really hyped about the simplicity of a "spiked" 396 in a light car. I wish I still had that magazine issue; I think I wore it completely out. I plan to use the DART 427, as you have described here, in my II. Thanks for many years of hot rodding bliss!

Bill
