Although the plenum divider effectively isolates intake pulses from one side of the motor to the other, using a 1-inch spacer still leaves a small gap between the left and right banks of runners. This allows for some “cross-talk” between cylinder banks. TME toyed with removing the divider entirely, but this resulted in very poor fuel distribution during dyno testing. View Related Article
