The runner openings on the intake manifold were filled with epoxy to match up with the intake ports on the heads. Unfortunately, cutting the manifold in half to access the runners, then welding it all back up, was prohibited by the rules. As such, this severely limited porting potential. The “good runners” flowed 350 cfm, while the “bad runners” could barely muster 300 cfm. View Related Article
