The cylinder heads and the associated valvetrain components are a key to performance and reliability. The heads are CNC-ported Pro Comp castings that were hand-finished. The valves are hollow-stem Ferrea pieces in 2.125/1.625-inch sizes. Henderson extols the virtue of the tulip exhaust valve form. Note the fire slot in the quench area of the head.
