The valvetrain components are all first-rate. TPIS went with Isky's solid-roller lifters (right) and Jesel's shaft-mounted 1.7:1 full roller rockers. In addition to the Cam Motion camshaft (TPIS thanks Kip Fabre for his help on that!), the LSX also employed Manton pushrods and COMP Cams beehive springs (130 pounds at an installed height of 1.80 inches and 320 pounds at a compressed height of 1.20 inches). The retainers and keepers were also COMP Cams products.
