Speaking of rings, here are the trick Total Seal .032-inch low-friction competition parts. These ultrathin rings were used on both the top and second positions on each piston, and worked just fine. TPIS was concerned about how stable they'd be, or if they'd be able to control oil effectively. Those concerns were put to rest when there were no issues on teardown. While these may not be a first choice for a street engine, for this dyno racing application, they're just fine. View Related Article
