Since nylon degrades and weakens over time, all harnesses must be re-webbed or replaced every two years. To help tech inspectors, SFI-approved harnesses are tagged with the date they were built. Most manufacturers offer services where they will recertify their harnesses for a reasonable fee. A nice perk about the RCI Platinum harnesses used in Project Fox is that the company offers a free one-time recertification after the first two years. View Related Article
