After aligning the bellhousing to the block, Jarvis removed it to bolt up the clutch. The optional Hurst strip/comp clutch features a dual-friction disc, a heavy-duty pressure plate, and a throwout bearing. It's rated at 650 hp, and Hurst also offers a twin-disc upgrade for more demanding applications. Jarvis recommends sliding the clutch disc on the input shaft of the trans to check for binding, and cinching everything down with red Loctite. View Related Article
