The crank in our core 455 was in excellent shape, but SAM decided to play it safe by turning the journals down .010/.010. The lightweight aftermarket pistons and rods required removing 180 grams out of the counterweights to achieve proper balance. For a more pleasing look, instead of drilling holes into the counterweights, they were turned down in a lathe. View Related Article
