To check the sway bars for potential binding, Jarvis disconnected and reconnected the endlinks to make sure they slid back on without any tension. Although it wasn't necessary on Project Olds, Jarvis says that there are occasions where the endlinks must be lengthened to remove preload off of the sway bar. Failure to do so will result in a sway bar that adds tension to the springs, and alters weight bias ever so slightly. View Related Article
