The streamlining continues at the throttle bores, one of the most restrictive portions of any carb. The throttle shafts on the Ultra (left) are "slabbed," or cut back to a minimal cross section, and use low-profile throttle plate fasteners. This leaves a more open area for airflow compared to the standard Dominator shafts and throttle plates (right). View Related Article
