The Global West Cat 5 kit was a no-go due to the severe drop center of the Bassett wheel. (Earlier, we had ruled out kits by other manufacturers as well.) That left just the Global West DB1812 system, which uses the stock-style single-piston caliper with a larger 12-inch 1LE Camaro rotor and a unique spindle to make it all fit together. We opted to reuse our original calipers to ease the installation and save a few bucks, but the DB1812 kit normally comes with new '70-73 Camaro binders and hoses. View Related Article
