Since Supernova is equipped with a compact aftermarket steering column, the large hole for the factory column was plugged up and recut. With aftermarket brakes, the holes on the far right for the factory parking brake assembly were not necessary either. After plugging up the holes, the welds were ground down with an angle grinder. Either an air or an electric grinder will suffice, and John recommends using a 3-inch, 36-grit wheel to limit heat buildup and prevent warping the metal. View Related Article
