This innocent-looking carb started life as a generic Holley 950 HP, then was modified by Randy Malik at RM Competition. He added a 3/8-inch spacer between the baseplate and the main body, explaining that moving the boosters farther from the throttle blades aids in reducing the fuel-droplet size, and creating a more homogenous fuel mixture. He says this is especially helpful at part throttle on a real-world vehicle, but also helps at wide-open throttle. View Related Article
