Since the top of the front windshield followed the contours of the window frame so nicely, Kurt slid it upward as far as possible. This resulting 1-inch gap beneath the glass was filled in with a custom 18-gauge panel that was glued to the cowl. He says that taking the time to make a good template out of poster board prior to cutting the metal makes it much easier to fab the filler panel. View Related Article
