Out back, the glass was moved upward in the hole by 1/2 inch. This, in conjunction with the trim removal, left a large gap between the sides and bottom of the glass and the body. To fill this void, Kurt fabbed up a 1/2-inch-thick L-shaped fill panel out of 18-gauge steel, bent it in a brake, and stitch-welded it onto both sides. View Related Article
