The Kenne Bell Boost-A-Pump was the tool of choice for the Vortech engineers because it handily sidesteps the need to swap the factory pump for a larger one. The Boost-A-Pump triggers additional voltage to the stock fuel pump once manifold pressure reaches 5 psi; however, the SRT8 kit maxes out just under that, and that's why Vortech modifies the Hobbs pressure sensor to come on at just 2.5 psi. We mounted the control unit under the seat, and wired it per the Kenne Bell instructions. View Related Article
