The Kenne Bell twin-screw supercharger features two impellers that are screw shaped and set in a larger case with very tight tolerances. Improvements in bearing design, along with thicker impeller shafts, require less power to drive than traditional Roots blowers. That all goes to the flywheel for instant gratification.
