Making some simple forms out of aluminum and holding them in place with tape, fiberglass was laid from the inside of the firewall, and heat from construction lamps helped cure the resin. By laying the glass in on the inside, we will be left with a very smooth side on the firewall that will be easier to deal with during the paint and bodywork stages.
