As mentioned, certain engines or transmissions require a bit of work to the transmission tunnel. Pre-made pieces are available from 21st Century and they saved us a ton of fabrication time. Here you can see the added tunnel pieces halfway through installation. The tunnel was raised nearly 2 inches to accommodate the taller T56 trans.
