The lifter valley plates are machined from a softer grade of 5052 alloy to reduce vibrations transmitted to the intake. Here, it is ready to be welded to the manifold flanges. Viewed from the top of the runners, the nitrous bungs position the nozzles directly at the back of the intake valves. View Related Article
