Last month we plugged in our stroker 383 smog motor from Speed-O-Motive and our TCI manual-valve Turbo 350. We spent most of our efforts deciphering ancient smog diagrams in anticipation of the state-mandated visual inspection and tailpipe test. The 383 dyno'd to 403 hp (at 5,300 rpm) using unfettered dyno headers and no catalytic converter.
