A survey of the intake port of Edelbrock's Magnum heads reveals a port of substantially higher capacity than the 153cc OEM castings, with a port volume of 176 cc. The intake port opening comes from Edelbrock CNC port-matched to gasket size. As delivered, the ports flow a peak of 260 cfm, Vs. 202 cfm for a typical production head. We would anticipate that a little work around the pushrod intrusion would help even more. View Related Article
