Mopar Magnum Engine - Magnum De-Mystified
One of the major differences in the Magnum family of engines was the change in valvetrain arrangement. Gone were the traditional through-the-block oiling shaft mounted rockers, replaced by pushrod-oiling individual rockers mounted on paired pedestals. Note the oil holes in the pushrods to supply lube to the upper valvetrain. The stock ratio was also ramped up from 1.5:1 to 1.6:1
