Vic Edelbrock Sr.'s first performance part was a manifold for a Ford flathead V8 that he tested on the dry lake beds of Southern California just before World War II. Edelbrock continues its love affair with flathead Fords by offering a new 4-Barrel manifold for them. It's a real blast from the past.
"The manifold is a reproduction of the vintage Edelbrock #452 two-piece manifold with a standard flange mounting [#1106]," said Jack Mayberry, Edelbrock vice president of R&D. "It will permit the use of modern, square-bore carburetors including the Edelbrock Performer Series and AVS Thunder Series."
The new USA-made manifold, #1107 for 1949-53 Ford V8s, joins literally hundreds of manifold parts manufactured for American cars by Edelbrock.
