Up front, our 9-inch wide wheel (with a 6-inch backspacing) proved to be too much, as we destroyed one rim while making our first turn. The inside lip of the rim rubs the upper control arm, so we ordered 8.5-inch wide rims with a 5.5-inch backspacing. This solved the problem-but not without some carnage.
