Like any engine that uses a hydraulic roller type camshaft, a thrust plate must be incorporated. The cam we installed is a GMPP Hot Cam, with a 0.525/0.525 lift and 112-degree lobe separation. The factory cam was 0.500/0.500-inch with 119.5-degree separation. View Related Article
