The Mustang's PBR floating caliper really isn't bad in stock trim, but it just doesn't provide the stopping power needed to smoke HOT ROD and Car Craft in the local Track Day wars. Oh, that's right, they never show up! So, the stock stuff makes it hard to keep up with our hardcore readers. To be honest, the stock system held up decently on the front under track conditions, but did suffer from fade and a "soft" pedal.
