Hotchkis' new tubular antisway bars were designed to offer the same cornering control as their proven solid bars but at significant weight savings. The solid bar for our G-Body weighed 24 pounds, while the hollow replacement bar (PN 2201F) tipped the scale at only 14 pounds. Hotchkis' popular GM A-Body bars (PN 2202F for the Chevelle, LeMans, Cutlass, and Skylark) are also being replaced on Hotchkis' parts list with the new hollow units. The new A-Body front bar also takes 10 pounds off the nose of the car. The new hollow designs will be replacing the line of solid bars completely.
