Chrysler recently constructed its largest display to-date for the Mopar brand, for the upcoming 2014 Detroit Auto Show in Michigan January 13th thru 26th. The expanded 5,500 square foot display will add the Mopar “Custom Shop” to the already successful “Mopar Garage”.
This year, Mopar’s “Custom Shop” will feature tablets preprogrammed with an Augmented Reality Customization Application that gives consumers a chance at customizing nearly anything from the Dodge arsenal. Included within the “Mopar Garage” will be the 2014 Dodge Challenger, SRT Viper, Fiat 500L Thalassa, Jeep Wrangler Recon, Jeep Cherokee Trail Carver, and Ram 3500 Dually CASE Work Truck – all modified with the Customization Application.
Of course, the “Custom Shop” doesn’t end at the Detroit Auto Show. We’re happy to report the Mopar “Custom Shops” will now be appearing in every North American Chrysler Group dealership across the country. This means dealerships will be ready to customize any vehicle sold; allowing customers the opportunity to personalize their vehicle before purchase with over 100 different parts or accessories. Best part, each installation will be covered by the original warranty, will be included in the Monroney label, and will be included in the financing package.
If you can’t make it to the 2014 Detroit Auto Show January 13-26, don’t worry. Be sure to stop by your local Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, and Fiat dealer to give the all-new “Custom Shop” a try for yourself.
