Vintage Air now offers a front-runner engine drive system for Ford Coyote 5.0L V-8s. Like Vintage Air’s previous systems, this Coyote Front Runner drive kit provides a compact block-mounted package, making it perfect for engine swaps into older, tight-fitting engine compartments. The kit includes Vintage Air’s machined compressor/steering pump mounting bracket, an SD7 compressor, remote reservoir power steering pump with pulley, integrated belt tensioner and idler pulley, ARP polished stainless bolts, and a Dayco serpentine belt. This kit retains the Coyote engine’s OEM water pump, alternator, and drivebelt. (Machined finish package as shown.) If you’re doing a project with a Coyote motor, you’ll be glad to know that the Vintage Air system doesn’t force you to use the Mustang’s OEM electronic power steering system—which otherwise requires its own 65-amp circuit.
