Carbon XR Cross-Ram
Performance Design out of Troy, Michigan, has just released an innovative new twin throttle-body carbon-fiber intake manifold for LS-series engines. The Carbon XR cross-ram intake fits all LS7 and LS3 rectangle-port design cylinder heads and accepts cost-effective '99-04 Mustang throttle bodies in 70- or 75mm diameter. Construction is carbon fiber and billet 6061-T6 aluminum, with high-temp resin RTM plenums. Other key stats: The cross-ram accepts standard LS7/LS9-body injectors, and individual plenum volume is 7.2 liters (14.4 liters total). The manifold height is just 11.3 inches from the valley base to the top of the throttle body, making it acceptable for many flat hood applications. We like the fact that the nested design allows fitment to a tall-deck block without the use of spacers. Runner length is approximately 11.5 inches, which was previously unobtainable with the layout of traditional LS-style intake layouts.

Bolt-In Rear Suspension
Good news for classic Impala owners: Global West Suspensions is now in the game with a bolt-on rear coilover kit for '58-64 Impalas. Pros will tell you that a rear coilover suspension provides much-needed adjustability for ride height, and most importantly, a wide selection of springs for fine-tuning. You can set your classic Impala up for a comfortable ride or superior performance, depending on your preference. The kit includes an upper crossmember, rear lower arms in either steel or aluminum, single- or double-adjustable shocks, street springs, brackets, and hardware. Kit prices range from $1,399 and up.
Wilwoods For Late Mopars
Performance is once again at the forefront of Chrysler's business with the introduction of the Hemi-powered Dodge Magnum, Challenger, Charger, and Chrysler 300C. Wilwood knows that many high-powered Dodges and Chryslers will see some track action, so they introduced a new high-performance disc brake kit that fits all of these performers. The track-tested Wilwood kit provides better street performance and will really make a huge improvement over OE brakes on track where consistency counts. The complete front brake kit is also lighter than the OE brakes, so a handling improvement will also be a benefit. The kit features W6A six-piston calipers and 14.25-inch diameter vented rotors. Kits come complete with the calipers in the buyer's choice of black or red powdercoat, two-piece rotors in standard, or drilled-and-slotted style with an aluminum hat assembly, aluminum caliper brackets, BP-10 Smart pads, and all the hardware required to complete the upgrade.
