Pace LS Crate Engine
Pace designed a new carbureted LS engine package around GM's 6.0L LS2 engine, the same one used in the '05-06 Corvette, and performance-model trucks and SUVs. But unlike the factory 400hp rating in the Vette, Pace's carbureted LS crate package twists the dyno needle to 445 hp at 5,700 rpm, and 444 lb-ft of torque at 4,500 rpm. With results like this-not to mention the smooth driveability and excellent fuel economy of the LS-you'd have to give it some serious thought for your next muscle car project. The 6.0L crate engine makes a great way to introduce your ride to the LS engine family and still have some money leftover for headers, engine mounts, plumbing, and electrical. Pace's LS crate engine only requires a two-wire hookup to run; the timing is preset (but can be adjusted), and does not require oxygen exhaust sensors. Like all carbureted engines, it runs just fine on 5-7 psi of fuel pressure. And look ma, no computers or wiring harnesses!

Flaming River Swivel Mount
If you're restoring a classic muscle car, chances are you'll be happy with stock or new reissued steering components. Try deviating from the factory recipe, however, with new tilt column, headers, new front clip, or custom dashboard, and you could find yourself looking for a steering column mounting solution. In the past, that meant it was time to start fabricating something special. Now, Flaming River has expanded its line of swivel floor mounts to many popular muscle car classics. These are an attractive, convenient option for installing a Flaming River tilt column in a classic vehicle. The machined aluminum ball swivels to allow positioning and installation of the steering column at virtually any angle. Each floor mount also comes with a satin finish back plate.

FAST's EZ-EFI has quickly become known as one of the leaders in plug-and-play fuel injection, with its easy installation and self-learning programming. Now FAST-in conjunction with TCI-has done the same for electronic-controlled transmissions with its EZ-TCU unit. According to FAST, no software, laptop, or tuning experience is required. Simply install the new transmission control unit and start the system by answering the simple Setup Wizard questions on the handheld unit.
The EZ-TCU is fully configured and ready to run right out of the box without tuning, but for those who demand customization, the unit is also fully programmable based on gear, load, speed, and rpm. The EZ-TCU is also capable of real-time switchable calibrations, which allow for multiple setups. Run one calibration on the way to the track, and with the push of a button, have a more aggressive setup ready for the race. The multiple shift modes include full manual mode for using bump or paddle shifters. The EZ-TCU is compatible with all GM transmissions, as well as the TCI 6x Six-Speed Transmission.
Precision Billet Pedals
After many requests from owners and builders, American Powertrain and Precision Billet Concepts have designed a cost-effective bolt-in billet aluminum pedal set for '67-81 Camaros and Firebirds. Machined from billet aluminum, these attractive pedals are designed to bolt-in with no modifications to the existing pedal box. All hardware is stainless steel while the pivot bushings are machined bronze. The manufacturer states that the pedal pads are treated with a special PBC buffing process that provides excellent grip even when wet, and none of the details are covered up by rubber pads. The pedals work with existing clutch and brake rods, and are compatible with American Powertrain's Hydramax hydraulic systems. Prices start at $329 for the clutch and brake pedal set, $179 for automatic brake pedal only, and $49 for a matching throttle pedal. All pedals are OE spec and model specific.
Global West Coilover Kit
Why is it that Ford guys always seem to get ignored when it comes to hard-core suspension pieces? Thanks to Global West, that's changing. They love all Blue Ovals, and they've been busy developing the good stuff for the Ford faithful. To back that up, they've just released a coilover suspension kit for '68-71 Torinos, and other fullsize Fords, that have either small-block or big-block engines. The Global West coilover kit provides a geometry change, adjustable ride height, adjustable shock valving, and provides an improved shock angle for greater dampening. Installation on the kit requires drilling 10 holes, and no welding is required. The kit also provides additional suspension travel to accommodate lowering and is available with optional Penske or QA1 adjustable shocks. Prices start at $2,700 for the complete kit.

The small western Michigan town of West Olive may not be a household word, but it is the longtime home of Air Flow Specialties, one of the country's top boutique carb builders for the race elite. AFS has been building hard-core racing carbs for over 20 years, and now they are offering their one-on-one expertise to you. Whether you're looking for a demon tweak on the 4150 for your street car, or the top end power number for the Dominator on your full-on race big-block, AFS has you covered. AFS offers several airflow ratings, and with their exclusive emuLLsion circuitry, AFS says their carbs provide superior torque and horsepower. All AFS carburetors are precision machined, flow tested, and hand
assembled using only quality parts.
Engine Fogging Oil
Storing an engine for long periods of time can sometimes
have unintended results. You may be saving that old numbers-matching motor while cruising around in your high-powered late-model LS, or you may have found a cherry short-block for a future project-whatever the case, shoving it in the corner and throwing a plastic bag over it won't save bare metal from problematic oxidation and corrosion. You may find down the road that you've got rusty cylinder bores and frozen rings on what had been a perfect assembly. AMSOIL's premium synthetic engine fogging oil offers superior film retention and provides long-term protection against rust and corrosion. The aerosol spray formulation offers an easy, clean application, while reaching more components and offering better distribution than straight motor oil.
During long periods of inactivity, and as a result of fluctuations in temperature, your equipment is left vulnerable to the formation of condensation that causes
surface corrosion on steel and iron compounds. It may also dry out cylinders, which can cause permanent damage when the equipment is dry-started.
Motor oil for two- and four-stroke engines often acts as a barrier to keep condensate from contacting engine parts and forming corrosion. Yet motor oil loses its effectiveness through time. The most effective way to make sure the oil gets distributed into the internal engine parts is to use an aerosol fogging oil. AMSOIL Engine Fogging Oil is applied through the engine intake or carburetor as the engine is running for a complete distribution of oil onto engine parts. It is easier, more effective, and cleaner than pouring motor oil into the engine cylinders and manually rotating the engine.
