On the transmission side, we depressed the throw-out bearing, simulating the clutch being engaged. We compare these measurements to make sure there is some freeplay, about 0.125 inch in our case. We don't want so much that the throw-out bearing will reach full extension with the clutch in. This distance can be adjusted with spacers supplied by Keisler. View Related Article
