Mopar Performance knew when they created the 392 crate engine that it was a hit. The third-gen Hemi is based off the one in Chrysler’s popular SRT8 car line, but without the restriction of new car emissions the crate version was tweaked and tuned by Mopar Performance for an extra 50 hp compared to the 6.1-liter—525 for those keeping count.
