"If the car makes it in the magazine," says Wes Joyner, "my 5-year-old son, Hayden, wants to take it to show-and-tell at school." In that case, Wes, make sure you take plenty of Popular Hot Rodding subscription cards with you, and make sure you've got a real smooth story about why your wife isn't the gal in the picture! Wes says he's loved muscle cars since he was old enough to get into a Super Chevy Show for free, and he's 31 years old now. Wes says cars are a family affair; he and his two kids love to head out to shows put on by his local car club-the American Muscle Car Club. He usually meets his parents while he's there (they have a '67 Nova), and son Hayden loves to remind him that grandpa's car is, indeed, still faster. No problem there, Wes, we've got plenty of PHR advertisers who can help in that department!

Tired of reading about Kregg Reynolds' stable of second-gen F-bodies yet? We didn't think so, especially since Kregg went to the trouble of finding the beautiful Samantha Llewellyn to pose with his '72 Camaro RS/SS. When you're finished admiring the subtle purple SS stripes and ghost flames, do yourself a favor and check out Samantha before you turn the page. Kregg picked up this '72 from a friend who had taken it apart to rebuild, but lost interest in it. Kregg was looking for another project about five years ago, and picked it up for a song. (He's since put plenty into it, though.) And before we forget, all the rear-wheel hp dyno numbers Kregg has quoted on his cars come from the Dynojet chassis dyno at Motorsports Performance in Frederick, Maryland.
