A big benefit of a blow-through arrangement over EFI is that the fuel dramatically lowers the inlet air temperature as it vaporizes. A boost-sensitive fuel-pressure regulator increases pressure by 1 psi per pound of boost. (It gets its reference signal off of the carb hat.) View Related Article
