Mike Sexton is one of the more experienced drivers in the event and his '87 Formula is a fixture in the "A" class. Last year Mike blew the motor, putting the car on its side in turn one. He finished the weekend driving another car he brought to the event and two weeks later, the Formula was back on the track with a fresh motor. Mike is currently running a fuel-injected 358ci motor with a combination of internal components commonly found on sprint car motors.
