"We used to come to the Goodguys shows to shine the tires," says Chris German, a 50-year-old home inspector from Cleveland, TN, "but now we scuff the tires!" German's '69 Z/28 has a homebuilt 358 small-block with Patriot heads, Edelbrock Air Gap intake, Hedman 1?-inch headers, COMP hydraulic roller cam (.544 lift, 232 degrees at .050), and a Holley 750 massaged to 830 cfm. It puts out around 450 hp to the wheels. The street driver is equipped with a highway-friendly 700-R4 from Bowler, and Vintage Air A/C. German also raided the DSE catalog for mini-tubs, fuel tank, sway bars, steering box, and coilovers. View Related Article
