With work schedules, family commitments, and budget constraints, not everybody has the chance to make all of the NSCA events they might like to. That's why when they do manage to make the field, there's nothing as fun as watching them do well. That was just the case at NSCA Mid-Michigan, as 11 drivers made their first final round of the year, just as the season was winding down.
What makes those performances even more memorable is the fact that NSCA will be consolidating a number of classes in 2006. NSCA is also rumored to be running a tighter schedule that incorporates a lot less travel for both racers and staff.
While the final rules and scheduling have yet to be made as we write this, there's little doubt about one thing: The new streamlined NSCA will be a stronger and more viable organization in 2006.
