Electronic Fuel Injection Pressure Sensor

Electronic Fuel Injection Pressure Sensor
An input is required to let the processor know the manifold vacuum, which is a handy measure of engine load conditions. In EFI installations, the manifold air pressure sensor (MAP sensor) does this. A vacuum line goes into the MAP from the intake manifold, or a fitting below the throttle plates on the throttle body. The sensor converts the vacuum level to an electronic signal, which is fed to the ECU by a harness connection. View Related Article
