The W2W team has found the main caps "walk" without a "girdle." Blair whittled a girdle from 3/4-incThe stock LS1's oil travels up the back of the engine to the two main lifter galleys. On the iron-block, the transfer passage between the two galleys can limit oil to the passenger side, so W2W's chief engine builder, Billy Briggs, likes to open up this passage (arrows) to minimize restriction. View Related Article
