The front pulley drive is simple but has plenty of little tricks in it. Van Auken found the Australian maker of this combination harmonic balancer/lower pulley, Romac (www2.eis.net.au/~romac), and had the pieces clear powdercoated to prevent them from rusting. He also built the timing pointer from a piece of 1/8-inch sheet aluminum and bolted it to the front cover after coating the bolts with blue Loctite. View Related Article
