Step one was to remove the stock factory cam, and put in its place a more appropriate COMP Cams stick. We used the XE268H, a hydraulic flat tappet with 224/230-degrees duration @ 0.050-inch, and 0.477/0.480-inch lift, on a 110 degree lobe separation.
